PAKISTAN CELEBRATE REPUBLIC DAY AFTER 7 YEAR :-

Pakistan Day Celebrations in Delhi: Invites to Separatists Include Masarat Alam



NEW DELHI:  Pakistan held its first Republic Day parade in seven year son Monday, a symbolic show of strength in the war against Taliban insurgents three months after a militant attack on an army-run high school killed 132 children in Peshawar.

The Pakistan Day parade in the capital of Islamabad had been cancelled since 2008 amid fears of a Taliban attack. Mobile phone networks in the city were disabled to thwart potential bomb attacks, some roads were closed to the public and much of the city was under heavy guard for the event




forces of Pakistan took place today in Islamabad after a gap of seven years, to commemorate the historic Pakistan Resolution on March 23, 1940 - a day which marks the the birth of a separate state for Muslims.
Personnel from all three services, Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force, are participating in the parade.
